Many have appeared as legal experts on local, regional and national television and radio spots, including CNN and National Public Radio.
Elizabeth is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and sits on the board of the ABA Publishing/ Law Practice Management Section. She is the Director of the Law Journal Newsletters Webinar Series for American Lawyer Media, purveyors of a monthly program designed to train attorneys and marketing staff on law firm marketing and business development techniques.
Elizabeth was the Executive Editor of LMA Strategies Journal and Chair of the 2005 LMA annual conference. She was manager of public relations at Littler Mendelson, the national labor and employment firm, and has worked in the advertising groups of both the Recorder, a San Francisco affiliate of American Lawyer Media, and the National Law Journal.
Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She earned a paralegal certificate and she worked as a paralegal for several years.

Lara Cupit’s background encompasses marketing and public relations in both legal and corporate settings.
Lara began her career during the dot com boom doing marketing, events and public relations for a growing internet company. She was able to garner local and national media attention for the events program she was instrumental in developing from the ground up. Under Lara’s direction, the events program grew to an impressive 75 events per quarter on a national and international level, and event media coverage included New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London and Seattle markets.
Her legal marketing and public relations experience comes from working in-house for two Texas-based, international firms with office responsibilities including New York, Dallas, Moscow and Mexico City. Lara has worked with practice areas including Franchise and Distribution, Finance, International Law, Labor and Employment, Appellate, Fidelity/Surety, Litigation and Insurance Coverage. She also served as the marketing lead for Pro Bono efforts, Women’s Initiatives and managed firm sponsorships and non-profit opportunities. She has been responsible for proposal generation, event management, advertising, public relations efforts, and general marketing strategy.
Lara was directly involved in developing innovative avenues to showcase areas of expertise such as targeted breaking news briefs to existing clients, target clients, peers, and organizations featuring an article authored by an expert in that field. This was able to generate new business for the firm in multiple practice areas and present the attorneys as knowledgeable leaders in their respective fields.
Lara received her B.S. with honors in Speech Communications from the University of Texas at Austin.
